1.The water system includes three parts: pretreatment system, reverse osmosis system and EDI refined treatment.Pretreatment system adopts mechanical filter, activated carbon filter, water softener, 5μm security filter. Mechanical filter is used for removing impurities and sediment; activated carbon filter is used for organic substances and odor removal; water softener for removal of water rigidity; 5μm security filter removes more than 5μm particles, ensure the product reach the requirements of water reverse osmosis.
2.The reverse osmosis system uses USA Dow's BW type membrane element, low energy consumption,high desalination rate and big water output.
3.EDI inlet with 0.2μm filter to prevent the particles entering into the EDI film block, and prevent the blockage of EDI film block.
4.EDI refined salt is used to ensure that the resistivity of pure water output is stable at 15~18MΩ•cm.
1.Original water tank: liquid level controller unstable municipal water supply, with using the original water tank storage system for water supply to meet the subsequent water use.
2.Booster pump: pressure on the pretreatment water supply. The water level of the original water tank is higher than that of the high water level and the pure water tank level is lower than the low level, then the booster pump starts; When the water level of the original water tank is lower than the low level and the water level of pure water tank is higher than the high water level,the booster bump stops.
3.Mechanical filter: remove sand, mud, rust and other suspended solids and colloidal impurities from water. Automatic operation, washing, backwashing.
4.Full automatic activated carbon filter: the removal of organic impurities, part of the smell, removal of residual chlorine. Automatic operation, washing, backwashing.
5.Automatic water softener: water softening, removal of the ion that is easy to form rigidity, such as Ca2+, Mg2+. Automatic operation, washing, backwashing, regeneration.
6.The salt box: filled with regeneration agent, used in water softener regeneration.
7.Security filter: remove the M >5 particles in the water to prevent clogging of the reverse osmosis membrane.
8.High pressure pump: pressure on RO reverse osmosis water.
9.Fully automatic reverse osmosis: which can remove more than 0.0001μm articulate impurities, molecular weight is greater than 150-200 organic matter, salt removal rate up to 95%.
10.Pure water tank: water storage.
11.Pure water pump: pressure on the water inlet. Pure water tank liquid level is higher than the high level and the ultra pure water tank liquid level is lower than the low water level, pure water pump starts.
12.EDI electric desalination plant: deep salt removal, so that the stability of water producing resistivity reaches 15-18MΩ•cm or higher.
13.Ultra pure water tank: storage of ultra pure water.
EDI(Electrode-ionization is a kind of ion exchange technology and ion migration (electrodialysis) combination of membrane technology and ion exchange pure water manufacturing technology. The technique using deep ionexchange desalting to overcome uncomplete electric dialysis polarization and desalination, and the polarization of electrodialysis and ionized water generate H and OH ions resin regeneration to overcome resin failure by chemical regeneration of defects is the 20th century since the 1980s gradually on the rise of the new technology. After more than ten years of development, EDI technology has occupied a considerable part of the ultra pure water market in North America and Europe. The EDI device is a fine treatment water system, which is generally used in combination with the reverse osmosis. It is composed of the ultra pure water treatment system, which is made of pretreatment, reverse osmosis and EDI device, which replaces the traditional water treatment process. The EDI device is required to be0.025-0.5MΩm, cm, and the reverse osmosis device can meet the requirements. The EDI device can produce ultra pure water with a resistivity up to 18MΩ•cm.
There are generally sodium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, nitrate, bicarbonate dissolved matters in natural water.These compounds are composed of negatively charged anions and positively charged cations. By reverseosmosis pretreatment, there are more than 95%-99% ions can be removed. Reverse osmosis water resistivity generally is in the range of 0.051.0 MΩ•cm, namely reverse osmosis water conductivity generally range from 201 µ s / cm. According to the practical application, the water resistance rate of EDI is generally5~18.2 MΩ•cm.
In addition, the raw water may also include other tiny elements, dissolved gases (such as CO2) and some weak electrolytes (such as boron, silica, etc.), these impurities must be removed in the industry brine removal.However, the effect of the reverse osmosis pretreatment is poor. Therefore, the role of the EDI is to remove the electrolyte (including the weak medium),increase the water resistivity from 0.05~1.MΩ•cm to 5~18.2 MΩ•cm.
1)After the reverse osmosis water entering the EDI pure water chamber ,ion in the pure water exchanges resin with EDI module ion to have ion exchange,which is separated from the water;
2)The water pressure is less than 0.2 Mpa needs to be installed with pipeline pump, the exchanged ions are
affected by the electric attraction.Cations through cation exchange membrane migrate towards the cathode, anion through negative ion exchange membrane exposed to the negative pole, and into concentrated water chamber then removed from fresh water.
3)The water molecules are constantly decomposed to H+ and OH-under the electric influence , OH- and H+,
respectively, so that the consumption of the anion exchange resin is continuously regenerated.
